If you are looking for a program to do video or TV capture, look no further. You should try Virtual VCR.
Virtual VCR is a small, free and versatile DirectShow video capture application designed to work with TV tuner and video capture cards that have WDM drivers.
I am so happy with the its performance, and it price that I wrote two programs to assist me in scheduled capture. I can now record all my TV programs using my PC. Good-bye to the old VHS tape!
The first program that I wrote was VVCRS, an interface to Windows' Task Scheduler. Virtual VCR does not have
a scheduler and relies on the Windows's Task Scheduler to do scheduled capture. As I am using XP, I get annoyed when I have to provide my password twice
whenever I schedule a capture.
As my needs grow, I wrote VVCRS2.
This is a standalone scheduler that has features that Windows Task Scheduler
cannot provide.
You are welcome to use both program freely. Do take note that I do not provide any warranty to both programs so use it at your own risk!
If you find the program useful or not useful at all, I welcome your suggestions and comments. My email address is in the Readme.txt file.
